FOODS THAT FIGHT BREAST CANCER

We all need to eat – so why not eat foods that help fight breast cancer?

Mushrooms are an excellent source of antioxidants that may help prevent cancer.  Studies have shown that women with a higher intake of mushrooms have had lower instances of breast cancer.

Pomegranate seeds contain ellagic acid, another very powerful antioxidant that can potentially prevent the development of breast cancer.

Walnuts may halt the onset of breast cancer tumors – They contain omega-3’s, antioxidants, and phytosterois that may help reduce the growth of cancer cells.

Blueberries may contain nutrients that may actually cause cancerous cells to self-destruct.  Both fresh and frozen wild blueberries are equally good for you.

So if you are thinking of eggs for breakfast – add some mushrooms to it, or if you are looking for a snack then think not of chips but reach for pomegranate seeds, Walnuts, and or Blueberries.
